Ivy Inn

The Ivy Inn is a different kind of Alaskan bed and breakfast. Guests have at their disposal a suite of rooms with a private entry. A complete kitchen with a well-stocked refrigerator allows guests to make themselves at home and fix breakfast at their own pace. The kitchen opens onto a sunny deck where guests can grill dinner - whether caught in a nearby river or purchased at one of several grocery stores in the area. The garden apartment is very private and the bedroom is furnished with antiques. With a queen-sized bed, Victorian daybed, trundle and rollaway, the Ivy Inn allows sleeping space for six people. The bedroom is seven steps down from the private bathroom. A television, VCR, phone and freezer provide additional comforts. A large garage is available for hunters and anglers who need lots of room to pack and repack their gear.

Location of the Inn

The Ivy Inn B&B sits in a quiet south Anchorage neighborhood nestled against a greenbelt. In summer, you are surrounded by birch and spruce. In winter, moose frequently wander by. Both the airport and downtown are a 12 minute drive away. The Seward Highway is nearby, providing travelers with quick access to points south including the Portage Glacier, the world famous Kenai Peninsula and the bird nesting areas along Potter Marsh. Hikers are only a short drive from the wilderness of Chugach State Park and shoppers have easy access to the largest shopping center in Alaska. Tennis, horseback riding and skiing are all within reach from the Ivy Inn Bed & Breakfast.

Reservations

Reservations are confirmed on receipt of one night's deposit. Payment in full is requested upon arrival. Seven day cancellation notification required for a full refund.
